Welcome Tyler Jacob!

On Wednesday, November 28th we welcomed a new little one into our family. Brady and Candace had a little boy named Tyler Jacob! He was 8lbs. 1oz. and 21.5 inches long. It was a scheduled c-section, so we were all really anxious to hear the news. Mom and Dad took care of Kylie that morning and went down to Glendive to see Brady, Candace and Tyler. We had to wait until Ben got home from work at noon to head down to the hospital. It felt like a long couple of hours. We were all very excited to see the very adorable little baby boy. He didn't look like he was 8lbs. He looked tiny, but he was very long.

Kylie and Mommy. I didn't get a picture of Candace and Tyler. I know, stupid, huh!

Diaper changing mishap. He didn't want to stop pooping! But he was happy. Brady didn't know how to handle all the poop and we all just laughed at him freaking out. And still Tyler was happy!

Thanksgiving Craziness!

Thanksgiving was a little crazy this year. On Wednesday afternoon we went to my parents' house. We cooked most of the Thanksgiving meal at my parents' house on Thursday morning and then took everything down to Brady and Candaces's house to eat. For those that don't know, Candace was almost 9 months pregnant at this time and it was easier for us to come to her. Also, their house is one level and easier for Rhys and Kylie to play. Then, on Friday morning we drove to Billings where we did some Christmas shopping. That night we went and visited Dave and Kasey Smith and family at Dave's parents' house. After visiting we went to Columbus to stay with Jim and Carol. Saturday morning we hung out in Columbus and that afternoon we went to Bozeman. We attended Nathan Pust's wedding that evening. It was like a mini UCF reunion. We got to see a lot of people that we hadn't seen in a long time. It was a blast! We stayed with Ben's uncle and aunt in Belgrade that night. Sunday morning we had breakfast with Brett and Loren in their very quaint little two room house. It was wonderful to spend time with just them and to learn about all that was going on in their crazy busy lives. We had to do a little bit of shopping in Bozeman before we went back to Columbus that afternoon. Jim and Carol were very eager to see Rhys and probably would have liked to have seen him more, but we just had a lot to do. Rhys was a little dazed and confused by all the running around that we did. He was glad to be at Grandpa and Grandma Larson's house to just relax a little.

Our little family!

Monday morning we headed to Billings to make a few last minute shopping stops. Finally on Monday afternoon we headed home. Boy was Rhys ever glad to be home and back in his own bed.

At Grandma & Grandpa's House and More!

Grandma Erickson has three inside kitties (all my fault - email me and I will tell you the story) and Rhys just loves these cats. But he is a typical boy and he really doesn't want to be gentle with them he just wants to pull on them. So it is generally really hard to get them close to him, but we managed to do it one day and he loved it.

Rhys and Feisty. Feisty fits his name very well.

Trying to get OD's tail.

OD is a lover.

Feisty is the leader and very snotty.

Rhys loves to clap.

The end of a clap.

Rhys' new thing has to do with the ladybug on his highchair toy. Instead of using his hand to hit the ladybug which in turn makes music play he insists on using his mouth. This is the progression of this happening.

THE END!
