I'M BACK....FINALLY

Hi to all those that actually read my blog. I know it has been like forever since I posted last and I am really sorry. I am posting some most recent pictures on this blog and I will have posts after this one with old pictures that are dated on the correct date of which the pics were from. I just want to let you know so that you won't miss any of the pics. So sorry again for not taking the time to update the blog. Hope you enjoy!

The following 14 pictures are of some of Rhys' 2 year pictures. A local lady takes pictures out of her house and just gives you all the pictures to do what you want with them. She does a great job and there are so many more pictures that she took. I tried to upload the photoshow video, but it wouldn't cooperate.

Rhys and Daddy being silly.

Rhys got a harmonica for his birthday and he loves it. He is playing it and dancing at the same time...he is so musical and coordinated.

While at Grampa and Gramma Larson's house, Rhys took a little spill on their steps. As you can see, he got a nice bruise above his eye. You worry about kiddos on stairs when they are first learning to crawl and walk and you don't think that they will have any problems after they get those conquered, but you never know.

Rhys' 2nd Birthday

We were actually out of town on Rhys' Birthday. Ben's cousin Derek got married on his birthday. We celebrated at Ben's parents' house on that following Sunday, so Rhys got 2 birthday parties because we had his birthday party at home on the next Saturday.

Taking a look at some of his birthday books.

Grampa and Gramma Larson got Rhys a wagon and he was helping put it together. He absolutely loves tools.

Blowing out the candle on his birthday cake.

What you lookin' at?

Rhys' B-day Party at home. We had a monkey theme, because we call Rhys our little monkey - fits him perfectly.
All the little partygoers in their party hats - Cousin Tyler, Cousin Kylie, Friend Aubree and Rhys.

Diggin' In!

Papa and Nana got him a Hot Wheels tricycle and it has a lot of great sounds.
I actually made him 2 monkey cakes - one chocolate and one white. They even turned out good. Mom did help, but they were my idea and I did the majority of the work. I was very proud of myself. Aren't they cute!

Dad had the camera for the next two pictures. They both would have been good pics if he wouldn't have cut off our heads. Oh well.

Blowin' out his candle.

Yummy Cake!

This pinata was a lot of fun! You had to pull all the ribbons out for the candle to come out. It is not as dangerous and aggressive as a regular pinata. The kids loved it. :)

The kids are checking out all the loot. Not too sure if it is OK to take or not.
Rhys is riding his tricycle the next morning. He couldn't wait to ride it. He was so excited and loved it!

Random Most Recent Pics

Some of you know that I am making a scrapbook to record Rhys' years. Well, this is Rhys and I looking at his scrapbook. It is huge, I know, and this is only until Christmas. I have done more and since them I put his pages from birth to 6 months in that scrapbook and started a new scrapbook with pages from 7 months to 1 year. I have almost scrapped his entire 1st year. It is about as big as the scrapbook we are looking at in the picture. All that I have left is his Birthday. Then, I get to start a new scrapbook for 1 year +. I am definitely not scrapping as many pictures as I did for his 1st year.

Daddy was having a fun time chasing Rhys down the hallway. I parked myself in the best place to get a great picture. They were having a fun time as you can tell.

Rhys is definitely a goofy boy. He decided to put one of my decorative round boxes on his head like a hat. He did that all on his own with no help from us.

GOOFY!

This was today when he was trying to sit on the ball and keep his balance. He was having a blast!

Wrestling with Daddy. 1..2..3..PIN! Rhys is the winner.

Summer Vacation

After my reunion weekend, we stayed with Ben's Uncle Ron and Aunt Sally who live in Belgrade. We wanted to spend some time with them; Ben's cousin Tara and her husband Joel and their new little girl, Tori; and Ben's cousins Derek and Mike. Also, I wanted to do some shopping in Bozeman.

Unfortunately, Monday night Rhys started teething. This wasn't just your ordinary teething, this was the worst teething that he had ever had. It was a good thing that I brought along all of his drugs, because he couldn't have made it through with some pain relievers (and neither would have we). He had to sleep with us both nights, but this picture was of Wednesday morning with him cuddling with Daddy.

After Bozeman, we went to Columbus to spend time with Ben's parents, Jim and Carol. Ben really wanted to go fishing, so Friday we went up into the woods for Ben to fish. Jim was working so he couldn't come along, but Carol and her dog, Patches, came with us. On the way up a bear ran across the road in front of us. This is the first bear that I have ever seen in the wild. It was really awesome!

The Big Fisherman!

Rhys was having a blast being outside and running around.

He really liked Daddy's fishing pole, but he used it as a walking stick, which wasn't very good for it.

Checkin' out Daddy's fish!

Rhys and Patches

On Saturday, we went to the Montana Zoo. Jim was working again so he couldn't come along, but Carol came and then we picked up Grandma Violet. Rhys had such a blast. He really liked the farm animals: chickens, horses, goats, etc. Here he is bonding with a goat.

Looking at the waterfall in the flower gardens. I think that he thought it was loud, because he kept covering his ears. It was really funny, because he had never done that before.

Checkin' out a peacock!
