May 2008

I know what you all are thinking, where have you been and why haven't you posted in over a month. Well, such is life, so here are pictures to update you on what has been going on the end of April and beginning of May.

Rhys is definitely a cheese-ball. He loves to smile and is almost always happy.

We give him very expensive toys, as you can see he has an empty Mountain Dew bottle. He is already taking after his Daddy in pop preference, but don't worry - we don't give him pop.

He is all about balloons and very often runs around the house waving one in the air. He was running after me while I was trying to take a picture of him.

The last pictures of his long, near mullet, hair. My mom was really not happy that I was cutting his curls off, but it really needed to get cut.

Look at those beautiful locks!

1st Haircut - they both look a little stoned, but believe me when I say that neither of them took anything that morning.

1st Cut - he looks a little worried and really didn't understand what was going on...

so we had to give him something to keep him preoccupied. He also got a sucker, which he loved!

Feeling good with his new "do."

His new "do" side profile.

All dressed up after church and playing with his Tonka truck.

Our little drummer boy, but as you can see we haven't gotten him a set of expensive drums just yet. We opted for the empty butter tub and a spoon and he likes it perfectly fine.

Taking after Uncle Luke.

Running around in the cute outfit Grandma Larson made him.

Daddy's helper.

He is definitely a boy. He loves to pound on things, climbing on everything possible, eating things that don't belong in the mouth and just getting into everything. He is really walking good, now and is always on the move. He can't sit still for too long. He is saying a lot of words: dog, dada, mom, duck, dow (for cow), cow (every once in a while), talk, cog (can say "c" now, so he puts it in front of other ending sounds he know) and many more. He really is a lot of fun and a very well-mannered and tempered little boy. He really loves people, outside and going to different places. We just planted grass, so he will hopefully have a little grass to play around on this summer.
