After my reunion weekend, we stayed with Ben's Uncle Ron and Aunt Sally who live in Belgrade. We wanted to spend some time with them; Ben's cousin Tara and her husband Joel and their new little girl, Tori; and Ben's cousins Derek and Mike. Also, I wanted to do some shopping in Bozeman.
Unfortunately, Monday night Rhys started teething. This wasn't just your ordinary teething, this was the worst teething that he had ever had. It was a good thing that I brought along all of his drugs, because he couldn't have made it through with some pain relievers (and neither would have we). He had to sleep with us both nights, but this picture was of Wednesday morning with him cuddling with Daddy.
After Bozeman, we went to Columbus to spend time with Ben's parents, Jim and Carol. Ben really wanted to go fishing, so Friday we went up into the woods for Ben to fish. Jim was working so he couldn't come along, but Carol and her dog, Patches, came with us. On the way up a bear ran across the road in front of us. This is the first bear that I have ever seen in the wild. It was really awesome!
The Big Fisherman!
Rhys was having a blast being outside and running around.
He really liked Daddy's fishing pole, but he used it as a walking stick, which wasn't very good for it.
Checkin' out Daddy's fish!

On Saturday, we went to the Montana Zoo. Jim was working again so he couldn't come along, but Carol came and then we picked up Grandma Violet. Rhys had such a blast. He really liked the farm animals: chickens, horses, goats, etc. Here he is bonding with a goat.

Looking at the waterfall in the flower gardens. I think that he thought it was loud, because he kept covering his ears. It was really funny, because he had never done that before.
